My New Stamp Room

I won't even try to give an excuse about why I haven't posted in SOOO LONG. But my stamp room is mostly completed. So, I've been able to start stamping again. Yeah!!!! I was able to get my lunch box tin made for my virtual stamp this month, and even scrapped a little this week, so I'll post some more pictures tomorrow.

So here are a few pictures of my new room:

This room use to be dingy concrete walls because it is in our basement. My dear husband custom built the desk and cabinets, put in the floor, walls, & lightning. We still have some more shelves to make for the center/corner desk and the end shelf on the left. I just have a shelf there that I bought at yard sale. Dh has been spending all of his spare moments working at our church, we just bought a new building and we have alot of rennovation to do before we move in Jan. 1st. So he'll be busy working there and once that is done he can finish my room, but at least I can stamp again!

The door here leads to my husbands office, so we are able to open the door, work in our own space and talk to each other. I think that is nice.

Wow! I Didn't realize...

...it had been that long ago that I posted. I could never catch everything up that has happened, so I'll give you a few highlights. We had a wonderful Christmas, my mother and brother were both able to come up from Florida for Christmas. I know, why would anyone want to leave sunny Florida and travel over 11oo miles North in the winter? The answer is easy, my cute adorable kids make Christmas so much fun. The Lord answered our prayer and while they were here the weather was beautiful, it stayed about freezing and even got into the 50's. This was great since the cold aggravates my moms arthritus. My mom was able to stay about two and half weeks, and my brother stayed ten days. They were both able to see the kids in our Christmas play at church. Our second youngest was one of the little lambs, I'm posting a picture of her in the cute costume my dear friend Cathie helped me make. We made one for all the little lambs at church. She has her hat on a little crooked, but I think it makes her even cuter.

Our Christmas play this year focused on the shepherds at the birth of Christ and tried to portray that Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd. Showing how we are all lost sheep, and he has come "to seek and save to save that which was lost". So many times Jesus is left in the manger as a little babe, but that was just the beginning, he grew, and lived a sinless life and sacrificed himself for to pay for sins. And that is something we try to get across at all our church programs.

Well, what else has happened since my last post? I became an aunt again. One of my dear SIL's had her first child on New Years Day, after 23 hours of hard labor, (baby was 9lbs 8oz) they ended up doing a csection. Mom and baby are recovering well. I haven't been able to see him in about 2 weeks because I've been sick with a nasty cold, and I don't want to share that with the little guy.
My dear husband has been working on getting my stamping/craft room finished. We now have a floor, a ceiling and all the recessed lights are in. We still to add the track lighting. The walls have already primed and I've bought the paint to paint the walls. Now if we just had time to finish. I'm still working on how I want him to build my desk layout. I can't decide if I want to keep my paper in the vertical fililng system I am currently using or if I want to buy some of those racks like they store paper in at the scrapbooking stores. If anyone has suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.
Well, I'd better get going, Hope you all have a Blessed day.
